Just a quick update

Haven't really done any significant work on any the projects I've posted about recently. I am about 40 percent done on a new project I cast on out of my Magic Loop Booklet. If you already have the booklet, it's the wristlets. I'm actually doing ok with this technique. I am starting to like it. I think it helps that this is also my first pair of Addi Turbo circular needles. I love how SMOOOOTH they are. They were expensive (at least for me), but I think they are worth it. Anyway, I've probably jinxed myself in getting this project done now that I've posted about it, but I will EVENTUALLY take some pics and show you how they're coming along.

WAHOOO

Got a set of size 50 needles for broomstick lace, a set of chenille tapestry needles for my current embroidery on jeans project and a set of ADDI TURBOS. and they are every bit as nice as I was hoping/had heard. The magic loop is going SO MUCH easier on them. they were totally worth the money and I might have to buy a new size every month when I get paid. Pics to come soon.

More Projects on Progress

This one is a scarf I'm doing to practice Broomstick Lace. I didn't have the right needle or "broomstick lace pin" so I sanded the handle of a paint roller and it seems to be doing just fine. And the yarn is just cheap acrylic, so it's ok if it snags a little.

This is an armwarmer I'm doing on the Medium red Knifty Knitter Loom. I've got one done and the next started with some fuzzy red bulky weight Lionbrand yarn from a kit.

Large squares to use up yarn and practice Tunisian Crochet. I'll probably just make a blanket or a bag or something out of the squares.

Triangle one of bikini Top. (No I don't wear bikinis and especially not of wool. It's a long story)

So anyway, that's everything I've got going on right now. I'll try to check back in a week or so to update on my progress. G'NITE!

All Righty Then!

I have charged the camera and here are some PICTURES!! YEP YEP YEP

First is the potholder and trivet I made for a friend of mine. I can't wait til my car is working or she comes to Denver, so I can actually give them to her. The one on the left is just plain ol' garter stitch and the one on the right is single crochet, then felted/fulled.

Next are the slipper socks I'm making for my mom, only half way there. *SIGH* This is Loom Knitting. The pattern is from Loom Knitting Primer by Isela Phelps. (I think that's how it's spelled, don't feel like finding the book right now to figure it out.)

Third is the "lapghan" I'm doing in "Crochenit". Just the basic stitch, no pattern here. I really like it so far.

So anyway, I'll have some more pics to post later, tomorrow, whenever the cramp in my shoulder eases up. Too much gaming, dang it!

Bye for now!

(I'm also having a really hard time formatting this post the way I want it to look. LJ is SO much easier)

Mom's Christmas Hat

Here is the hat I made my mommy for Christmas!
(I still haven't charged up my camera to take pics of my current wips but I will soon.) I make a cute model! Also here is the pattern I used. Tunisian Crochet Ribbed Hat

I think it came out pretty good!

Still Neglectful

All right. I'm going to charge up my camera and get pictures of my current projects. I really need to figure out all my various online journals and networking pages. Maybe just make my self a list of all the sites and my user names and passwords and go through each one about once a week. This is so pathetic. There seem to be some changes on this one that are making this much easier to use. Hmmm.
